The SAIL community comprises of faculty, students (both graduate and undergraduate), postdocs, alumni and staff. SAIL is directed by Professor Shrikanth (Shri) S. Narayanan, who advises students along with Professors Panos Georgiou and Sungbok Lee. Currently, more than 20 graduate students do pioneering research in speech processing, emotion recognition and behavioral signal processing. Moreover, SAIL provides the opportunity for undergraduate students to work on various research projects and guide them through their first research efforts. Finally SAIL Alumni (numbering more than twenty-five people), now pursuing great careers in both academia and industry.
