Hi! I am a Ph.D. student at the SAIL lab at USC. My research interests lie in the field of Signal Processing/ Machine Learning. While the diverse nature of my work allows for exploration of fields not traditionally considered Signal Processing, it often also inspires new ideas that can only come as a result of thinking out of the box.
I received my Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 2009, where I trained to be an Instrumentation engineer. I am originally from Kolkata, India.
Welcome to my website. Enjoy your stay here, and feel free to check on other details from the menu on the left.
I recently defended my thesis successfully. You can see the slides from the presentation here. The talk was titled “Exploiting reliability information for classification tasks”.
