Click below and listen to a recording of the fifteen Dutch vowels spoken in isolation. Each vowel is repeated five times. For each vowel, put a dot on the cardinal vowel chart below, and put the number of the vowel (on the tape) next to the dot. Try to listen to the whole list just once without going back.
Part 2
The Dutch vowels are listen in scrambled order below. Click on each one and attempt to match it to one of the vowels in Part I (1-15), using your chart as a guide. Do not go back and listen to Part I again.
