Outer Yuccan

Outer Yuccan is a language that, by chance, contains only English consonants, and the following vowels:

[i] as in "heed"
[e] as in "hayed"
[a] as in "cod"
[o] as in "hoed"
[u] as in "who'd"

Below are10 words of Outer Yuccan that you can listen to by clicking on the numbers (1-10). You should listen to the first five words 5 times, and to the last five only 3 times. You should write down what you hear on your answer sheet. This is of course based on a honor stystem and it is in the interest of your ear training that you respect those constraints. You should try to write as much as you can the very first time and then complete your transcription along the subsequent listenings of the word. Good luck !

For the first four, hints are provided: the total number of segments as whether they are consonants or vowels.
